Bevor ich vor allem Kinder fotografiere denke ich oft über ihre kleinen Perönlichkeiten nach. Wie kann ich Gefühle und die klitzekleinen Momente festhalten? Das ist oft genug gar nicht mal so einfach – Spass und Vertrauen sind die Zutaten um genau das zu erreichen. Die meisten Bilder hier sind am Ende entstanden, nachdem Sarah sich so fotografieren lies wie es ihrer Vorstellung entsprach. Und ich denke, ich habe diesen einen Moment erwischt – hoffe ich. Ich bin gespannt ob ihr ihn entdeckt!
Before I start shooting children I often think of her personality. How can I work out her feelings? How can I catch this special moment who tells so much? This is always the difficulty. I think trust and fun is the key for this little great personalities … . I took the most of these captures at the end – after Sarah was posing as she pleased. And I think I got it – this moment I was looking for. I hope you like it, I’m curious of your thoughts!
Very nice series Nicki, I am loving the 35 1.4 you are making consider swapping my 35mm f2 for one.
I never owned the F/2 but I think you also can get great captures with that Lens :). Thanks for stopping here!

Fun does describe this , Matthias :) My favorite picture is of Mila’s paws and the little girl’s hands in the air. I also like the picture of her covering her eyes and the spotty light in that shot. But they are all nice. …35mm 1.4. Good idea; now I know why you were happy waiting for your new lens. Party with lens!!
